The purpose of this project and the resulting guideline below was to support the development, implementation and maintenance of data collection systems within environmental product life cycle assessments (LCAs) and hence improve the quality and comparability of LCA data.

Our role

The project was a collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology, IFEU and Ecobilan led by ENEA. 2.-0 LCA consultants were in charge of developing a guideline for data collection following the terminology of ISO-standards 14044 and 14048, which should be seen as a technical supplement to these standards. Project completed December 2004.
