Life Cycle Assessment of early grain corn

The goal of the study was to assess the potential environmental benefits of early grain corn cultivated in Germany and France, when compared to conventional corn varieties.

Our role

We performed a cradle-to-gate LCA following the ISO 14040/14044 standards, addressing corn cultivation, transport and drying, using primary data from experimental field trials conducted by KWS. Project completed June 2023.
