What's new on the SPOLD memorial site?
In June 2003, we released the software code for the SPOLD data exchange software under general public license.
In 2002, the SETAC/UNEP Life Cycle Initiative was launched, continuing the database activities initiated by SPOLD. At this time, the activities of SPOLD as an association was terminated. For documentation purposes, the SPOLD web-site and software is now maintained by 2.-0 LCA consultants.
In August 2002, we released version 3.1.2 of the SPOLD Data Exchange Software (with small improvements in sdes.exe).
In August 2001, the new SETAC nomenclature for environmental exchanges (inputs from nature, outputs to nature, and other exchanges) were included in version 3.1 of the SPOLD Data Exchange Software, containing updated and expanded look-up tables with the new names and CAS-numbers.
In August 2001, PRé released SimaPro 5, which brings the number of SPOLD-compatible LCA-software up to three.
